Okay, maybe it’s not. But it was this weekend. So I took advantage of the 70-degree weather. While I spent the day hiking in Point Reyes and exploring the lighthouse, Orelia enjoyed a long overdue grooming session at Bow Wow Meow. Does she look cute or does she look cute?!
On Saturday night, I scored front row seats to an electric performance by Earl Thomas at Biscuits and Blues. One of my favorite songs of Earl’s is called Soulshine. And both my soul and that of my good friend, Katie, were shining bright during the entire performance.
Earl doesn’t just sing. He gyrates across the stage, tells hilarious stories and feels the music on a deep soul level. Next time you’re in San Francisco, go see him perform. You won’t regret it! And order the fried chicken and gravy. You won’t regret that either!
