Paris, We Meet Again

Back in Paris, I moved to a smaller apartment named Absolute Marais near Metro St. Paul.  The place was so modern and chic that I nearly dropped my bags upon entering the threshold. Or perhaps it had something to do with the climb up three flights of uneven stairs in 80-degree weather with two large suitcases.  (Will I ever learn to pack lightly?!)

The next few days passed in a joyful blur:  candlelight Chopin concert at St. Julien Le Pauvre, romantic nighttime strolls along the Seine avec moi et moi, mouthwatering pasta dinners at L’Osteria, a quick tour of L’Orangerie to admire Monet’s Water Lilies, and beaucoup shopping at Galeries Lafayette.  It’s a rough life!
