Moliere and Chopin and Colette, oh my!

Where do all the most influential artists, politicians and literary greats in Paris hang out? Pere Lachaise.  This is exactly where we found ourselves on a rainy and chilly autumn morning.

One would think a cemetery is a grim place to visit, but Pere Lachaise is lush, gorgeous and peaceful.  We pretty much had the place to ourselves since most people ran for cover once it started to rain.  We forged on to find Jim Morrison’s grave and surprisingly beautiful things down every winding cobblestone path.
